Full dimensions of new iPad Air and iPad Pro revealed
Apple plans to release new iPad Air and iPad Pro models as early as March, and the upcoming tablets are rumored to be significantly thinner than their predecessors, writes 9to5Mac.
So, for the first time, Apple is engaged in the development of two versions of the iPad Air at the same time. One of them is similar to the current model, while the other will have an enlarged display, almost identical to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
As for the thickness, the Pro will become noticeably thinner. The 12.9-inch version is currently 6.4mm thick, while the upcoming model will be just 5mm. As for the 11-inch version, its thickness will decrease from the current 5.9 mm to 5.1 mm.

The next-generation iPad Pro will be equipped with an M3 chip, an OLED display and additional storage options. There is a possibility that Apple is also developing new accessories for these models. As for the iPad Air, a switch from the M1 chip to an M2 or M3 is expected.
