French Prime Minister: Ukraine will hold its ground in war with Russia, but there's condition
Ukraine will continue to restrain Russian aggression. However, this is contingent upon continued assistance from Western countries, stated French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal in an interview with BFMTV.
"If we support them, they will continue to hold on," believes the head of the French government.
He warned that if Ukraine loses the war with Russia, it will "come at an exorbitant price for the French."
The Prime Minister clarified that the Kremlin's victory could lead to food inflation and immigration, directly affecting the population of France.
French assistance to Ukraine
France is indeed one of Ukraine's allies, providing military assistance since the onset of full-scale war.
Specifically, the French government has already supplied light tanks AMX-10RC, long-range missiles SCALP, self-propelled artillery units Caesar, air defense systems Crotale, and more.
In late March, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu promised that his country would provide Ukraine with decommissioned weaponry, offering an alternative to disposal.
