Milrem Robotics will provide Ukraine with 6 unmanned demining systems. The equipment will be transferred to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine with the support of the French government.

Milrem Robotics, one of the world's leading developers of robotics and autonomous systems, will supply six THeMIS unmanned vehicles to CNIM Systems Industriels of France.

They will be integrated with route cleaning systems and delivered to Ukraine.

The systems will be handed over to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) for quick and safe clearance of explosive ordnance.

ROCUS is based on the THeMIS platform and is equipped with a specialized payload for route clearance adapted by CNIM Systèmes Industriels.

The drones allow for remote verification, confirmation, and neutralization of threats, which significantly increases the safety of sappers.

The ROCUS systems will help the SES ensure the safe movement of civilians, protect the environment, revive agriculture, and help rebuild residential areas.

The new 6 drones will join the first seven ROCUS systems deployed in Ukraine in 2022. In total, 15 systems from Milrem Robotics are already in use in Ukraine.

French assistance to Ukraine

France is currently one of Ukraine's key partners. The country provides military assistance to the Ukrainian army, including artillery, Mirage 2000 aircraft, armored vehicles, ammunition, long-range missiles, air defense systems, and other weapons.

In addition, French President Emmanuel Macron was the first to propose the idea of considering the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine.

France also supports Ukraine's European integration and its path to NATO.
