France continues to provide military assistance to Ukraine. In particular, all weapons produced in 2025 are being sent to Ukrainian defenders, according to French President Emmanuel Macron.

Commenting on military assistance to Ukraine, Macron emphasized that he had great respect and admiration for the Ukrainian people, soldiers, and leadership. But at the same time, the French army model was not designed for high-intensity conflicts on land.

"That's why we gave everything we had. Moreover, we started producing much more and much faster. This is the same wartime economy," the President said.

According to him, France cannot give Ukraine what it does not have and what is necessary for its own security.

Macron recalled that his country had given Ukraine a large number of shells and Caesar self-propelled artillery systems, which the Ukrainian army recognized as very effective.

"We have not only transferred everything we could, but we have tripled our production. And this year, everything we produce is going to Ukraine. We even returned the guns that we had previously sold to other countries to give them to Ukraine," the French leader said.

He clarified that some countries were limited in their military assistance to Ukraine by political considerations, but this was not the case with France.

France's assistance to Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, France has been helping Ukraine with weapons. In particular, Paris has already handed over its AMX-10RC light tanks, SCALP long-range missiles, and other important weapons to Ukrainian soldiers.

Ukraine also recently received Mirage 2000 fighter jets from France. This has strengthened the defense of Ukrainian skies against Russian air attacks.
