The international company Eurostar has asked passengers to postpone their trips to France or the United Kingdom due to issues on the French railways, according to NU.nl.

Lawbreakers staged actions around railway lines, disrupting train services. To the north and west of Paris, trains run less frequently or do not run at all.

Many high-speed lines are also out of service. This occurred on the day of the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris.

Eurostar trains traveling between Amsterdam and Paris are also experiencing significant disruptions on the French rail network. This is noticed not only by fans but also by Olympic participants trying to reach Paris by train from the Netherlands.

Eurostar is urging customers to postpone their travel if possible. High-speed trains between Lille and Paris are being redirected, and as a result, passengers may experience delays of up to an hour and a half.

Some trains are not operating at all.

According to Eurostar, customers who have booked tickets will be notified by email and text messages.

As reported earlier, on July 26, the day of the Olympics' opening, France experienced a massive rail disruption.

Furthermore, for security reasons, the Euroairport in France was evacuated, and flights were temporarily suspended.

The situation was further complicated by a controversy during the opening ceremony of the Olympics. French audiences reacted strongly to Lady Gaga's performance.
