The United States has recently destroyed Iran's entire missile capability and eliminated 42 ships of the country's fleet, US President Donald Trump stated, according to CBS News.

"It's been incredible, the job we've done. The missiles are blow to smithereens. They're down to very few. The drones are blown. The factories are being blown up as we speak," Trump said.

According to him, the Iranian fleet is also gone, sunk to the bottom of the sea. In total, US forces and their allies destroyed 42 Iranian naval ships, along with the country’s air forces.

"Every single element of their military is gone. Their leadership is gone. There's not a thing that's not gone. We're winning at levels never seen before and quickly," the US president added.

US operation in Iran

Recall that on February 28, Israel and the US launched an operation against Iran, which reportedly also eliminated the country's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

In response, the Iranian military began attacking Israel and several Middle Eastern countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, and Azerbaijan.

Also, on March 7, Trump announced a "serious strike" on Iran, promising the "complete destruction" of the country's military potential if nuclear developments continue.

Additionally, according to Axios, US officials are seriously discussing the possibility of seizing Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export terminal.
