Five Russian aircraft attack Kherson region, targeting four populated areas
Russian forces today, on October 16, dropped nine air bombs on the Kherson region from five planes, according to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
"The enemy attacked the Kherson region from five Su aircraft," the statement said.
It is noted that the Russians dropped 9 guided aerial bombs on four populated areas.
"Information about casualties and damage is being determined," Prokudin added.
Situation in the Kherson region
Since the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region, part of the region has been under constant shelling by the occupiers. The Russians are attacking the civilian population with heavy weaponry, artillery, and aviation.
Recently, the Russians attacked Beryslav in the Kherson region, hitting a private house. Unfortunately, a woman lost her life due to life-threatening injuries, according to the head of the Regional State Administration.
Yesterday, Russian occupiers shelled Kherson. The city center is without electricity due to damage.
