First photos emerge showing aftermath of Russian drone attack in Zhytomyr region

A Russian drone hit a multi-story residential building in the Zhytomyr region on the evening of Thursday, April 10. A child is among the injured, according to the State Emergency Service.
According to the State Emergency Service, one person was killed and five others were injured in the enemy attack in the Zhytomyr region. Among the injured is a child born in 2011. All the victims have been hospitalized.
As a result of the attack, at least five multi-story residential buildings were damaged, and a fire broke out in one of them. The fire has already been extinguished, and emergency crews are continuing to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
Rescuers and all relevant services are working at the scene. A heating point has been set up to provide assistance to the local population. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are also providing support to residents.
Shahed drone attack
Today, the Russian army launched Shahed-type attack drones over Ukrainian territory. Due to the presence of enemy drones, air raid alerts were declared in several regions. In Kyiv, the sound of air defense systems engaging the drones could be heard.
Additionally, a Russian drone struck residential apartment buildings in the Zhytomyr region. As a result, one person was killed.
