First election results in US appear: Leaders named
In the US, where the presidential election was held, polling stations have closed in several states. Preliminary data on the election results has already been released.
Here is information on who is currently leading based on the vote count in the American presidential election.
In Indiana and Kentucky, where the first polling stations have closed, Republican Party candidate Donald Trump is leading according to early vote counts, as reported by the Associated Press. AP declared him the winner of these races after polling stations closed across both states.
It should be noted that in Indiana, 10% of votes had been counted at the time, and in Kentucky, 5%.
"AP only makes such a call if results from AP VoteCast at poll close show a candidate leading by at least 15 percentage points," the report stated.
Trump is also leading in Philadelphia and Georgia.
Meanwhile, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is winning in Vermont.

Additionally, The New York Times also predicts Trump’s victory in Indiana.
