A fire is still ongoing at the oil depot in Feodosia, which was recently attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is evidenced by satellite images, Skhemy reports.

According to monitoring data, satellite images from Planet Labs taken on October 8 show plumes of smoke over the oil depot in Feodosia.

It is worth noting that this maritime oil terminal has been described as "the largest in Crimea in terms of the volume of oil products handled, which were used, among other things, to supply the needs of the occupying Russian army."

As evidenced by satellite images, a large-scale fire is still ongoing there as of 11:44 AM Kyiv time.

Strike on the oil depot in Feodosia

On October 7, explosions were heard in the occupied Feodosia, after which a fire broke out at the oil terminal. The city declared a municipal state of emergency. This is not the first attack; in March 2024, the terminal was already targeted by four drones.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the oil terminal in Feodosia.

According to media reports, a Russian air defense system, the Pantsir-S1, may have been located at the oil depot.
