Fire breaks out near Simferopol airfield in Crimea
In temporarily occupied Simferopol in Crimea, a fire occurred near the airfield used by Russian occupiers, according to Crimean Wind.
A monitoring group posted satellite images taken at 2:23 p.m.
The accuracy of determining the fire's coordinates is low and may vary from tens to hundreds of meters.
"The system is made for urban areas. Fires in equipment and warehouses are sometimes not visible. Instead, secondary fires in grass, forests, and fields are clearly visible. For example, from the scattering of fragments," the media states.
Since the beginning of the war, the airfield in Simferopol has been closed, and the runway is used solely for military purposes - for receiving transport aircraft.
