Fire breaks out in Moscow after blasts near hotel, emergency crews on scene (video)

An explosion occurred in one of the districts of the Russian capital, Moscow, on the afternoon of Monday, June 30. A car exploded, and the fire spread to a building, according to the Baza Telegram channel.
According to preliminary data, the incident took place on Plekhanov Street. A car exploded near building No. 17. The fire spread to a nearby building, with the facade catching fire from the first to the third floor.
According to TASS, the explosion occurred near the Hotel Perovo Plaza in eastern Moscow. Eyewitnesses said about two loud explosions - first, a car caught fire, then the flames spread to the hotel building’s facade. According to another version, a diesel boiler exploded in a container located nearby.
As a reminder, explosions were heard in Moscow on the night of June 26. The local authorities reported an alleged drone attack and air defense activity.
