A fire broke out at a clinic building in Kyiv this evening, November 28, following a Russian airstrike using combat drones. The blaze resulted from the debris of intercepted enemy aerial targets, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reports.

The fire occurred in the capital's Dniprovskyi district.

According to the mayor, debris from the drones caused "the external cladding of the clinic building to catch fire."

Preliminary information also indicates damage to nearby buildings.

"Emergency services are heading to the site," Klitschko stated.

Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, confirmed on Telegram that the Russian drone attack on the capital led to "a fire at a medical facility" in the Dniprovskyi district.

"Information regarding casualties is being clarified," the official added.

Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that one person was injured following the enemy airstrike.

"Medical assistance is being provided," the administration noted.

According to an update from Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the fire on the façade of the clinic building in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district has been extinguished.

The mayor stated that the attack also damaged the building’s wall, shattered windows, and uprooted trees in the courtyard.

"The clinic's security guard was injured and has been hospitalized," Klitschko reported.

The mayor of Kyiv also reported that debris from an enemy drone fell on the premises of "one of the infrastructure facilities" in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
