A fire broke out at an aviation technical base in Kursk, Russia, today, July 2. Media have published satellite images of the site of the fire, according to the Russian service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

In the image taken on July 2, smoke from the fire can be seen on the grounds of the 3754th Central Aviation Technical Base in Kursk.

As noted by journalists, higher quality satellite images reveal that a parking lot for military trucks is located next to the burning building.
