The Finnish Ministry of Defense suffered a cyberattack on its website. For some time, it was overloaded, according to the ministry's post.

The Finnish Ministry of Defense reported that it suffered a denial-of-service (DoS) type cyberattack. During the attack, the website was overloaded with an artificially created large number of requests.

The attack ceased after some time, but users may still experience difficulties accessing the site due to security measures implemented.

"We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience caused," the ministry's post said.

The identity of the person or persons behind the cyberattack on Finland's Ministry of Defense remains unknown.

Earlier, a cyberattack disrupted the work of several European airports. It affected the operations of airports in London, Brussels, and Berlin.

Hackers attacked a provider of automatic check-in and boarding systems at airports. In Berlin airport, due to the failure of automated systems, check-in and boarding had to be carried out manually.

At London's Heathrow Airport, passengers were warned about delays caused by a technical problem at an external provider.

Ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 3-4, Czechia is experiencing an increase in cyberattacks originating from Russia.

Czech intelligence services warn that the aggressor state is actively using hybrid pressure methods, including cyberattacks, to destabilize the situation and undermine citizens' trust in state institutions.

In July this year, the Czech Security Information Service (BIS) recorded large-scale cyberattacks on government institutions and critical infrastructure facilities.
