"Liberation" of the Kursk region: What Putin said
On April 26, the Kremlin announced the so-called "liberation" of the Kursk region. However, according to the Deep State map, Ukrainian forces continued to control about 30 square kilometers in this region as of April 26.
Moreover, for the first time, Russia officially confirmed the involvement of North Korean military personnel against Ukraine — they are participating in the fighting specifically in the Kursk region.
