Russian occupying forces have intensified operations on several fronts in the Pokrovsk agglomeration. Small arms battles are ongoing in Hryshyne, according to the 7th Rapid Response Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces.

"Assault operations are being carried out simultaneously on several fronts in the Pokrovsk agglomeration, using light vehicles, ATVs, and infantry groups," the 7th Air Assault Corps reported.

The enemy is focusing its main efforts on advancing in the areas of Hryshyne and toward Rodynske, attempting to operate with so-called "small pincers" and advancing along the flanks.

Defense Forces within the area of responsibility of the 7th Air Assault Corps are repelling daily attacks on Hryshyne.

Small arms fighting is ongoing in the center of the settlement, while Ukrainian units are holding back the enemy and blocking its advance from the eastern side of the town.

At the same time, the enemy is increasingly trying to advance westward, avoiding a direct entry into Hryshyne.

On the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk, Ukrainian troops are blocking enemy attempts to advance and are holding their positions.

In the Myrnohrad–Rodynske direction, units operating within the 7th Air Assault Corps' defense zone are destroying and halting the enemy in close coordination with the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov".

An increase in the use of guided aerial bombs (KABs) and strike drones has been recorded across the entire Pokrovsk agglomeration. The enemy is actively using unfavorable weather conditions in recent days to cover movements and build up forces.

Despite attempts by the enemy to concentrate artillery, the Defense Forces' efforts are focused on reducing the enemy's firepower capabilities.

In particular, over the past two days, the 147th Separate Artillery Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps destroyed and damaged four enemy artillery pieces in the areas of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

Russia's spring-summer offensive

Recall that it was previously reported that Russian forces had launched a spring-summer offensive against Ukraine's "fortress belt" in the Donetsk region. The main pressure is concentrated on the Lyman direction, which opens the way to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

Russian forces are also attempting to advance in other sectors of the front.

Between March 17 and 20, Russia intensified its offensive on several fronts, with fierce fighting breaking out. Tens of thousands of soldiers were thrown into "meat assaults," but the attempt failed with catastrophic losses.
