Fighting continues: Ukrainian military report on situation in Velyka Novosilka

Fighting is ongoing near the settlement of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region, with enemy attacks proving unsuccessful, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops.
"I can say that battles are taking place near the settlement of Velyka Novosilka, and they are not without success. In addition, we regularly report on enemy losses there, both directly in the area and those attempting to advance from there in other directions," said Trehubov.
Ukrainian spokesperson also provided an update on the situation in the village of Kotlyne in the Pokrovsk direction.
"Clashes are ongoing there and have been for several days," noted Trehubov.
Battles for Velyka Novosilka
Recently, heavy fighting has continued in the village of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region.
According to Ukraine`s 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the Russian advance in Velyka Novosilka may slow down due to a geographical barrier.
In addition, the Ukrainian forces recently used drones to locate enemy equipment near Velyka Novosilka. Artillery strikes were successfully conducted on Russian forces.
