Explosions are being heard in Vinnytsia and Burshtyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region amid a missile threat, with groups of drones also heading toward the areas, according to Suspilne and the Air Force.

Explosions were heard in Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and then occurred again shortly afterward. Shortly before the attack, the Air Force reported a group of cruise missiles heading toward Burshtyn.

It should be noted that Burshtyn is home to a thermal power plant, which may have been the target of the strike.

Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration head Nataliia Zabolotna said that the region is under a massive air attack.

A critical infrastructure facility in the Vinnytsia region had been hit recently, with no casualties reported.

A minor acting as a Russian agent had been preparing an attack on the Burshtyn TPP and was detained by law enforcement.

On February 6 and 7, Russian forces targeted western regions in particular. Attacks were reported in the Volyn region, where Shahed drones terrorized districts throughout the day.
