In the early hours of October 5, explosions were heard in Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia. Russia is attempting to attack the cities using drones and aerial bombs, according to the Telegram channels of the Ukrainian Air Force, regional governor Ivan Fedorov, and Suspilne Odesa.

“Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Odesa, Kyiv — stay in shelters,” the military warned at 02:18 Kyiv time.

A few minutes after this alert, air defense activity was reported in Kyiv. Shortly thereafter, the information was confirmed by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

Additionally, almost simultaneously, around 02:29 Kyiv time, explosions were heard in Odesa and Zaporizhzhia.

In Odesa, it is reported that the enemy directed attack drones toward the city. Regarding Zaporizhzhia, the regional governor had warned the previous day about the threat of KAB munitions being used, and the military directly recorded these launches.
