Explosions rocked the occupied Simferopol in Crimea on March 21. Russians complained of an "attack" and blocked the Crimean Bridge, according to local Telegram channels.

According to reports, several explosions were heard in Simferopol. The occupiers justify them as the work of anti-aircraft defense.

Meanwhile, propagandists claimed that several drone groups entered Crimean territory and allegedly, Russian air defense systems were operational. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims to have "shot down" three drones over Crimea. Ukraine was traditionally blamed for this.

At the same time, Russians blocked traffic on the Crimean Bridge.

Situation in occupied Crimea

Explosions are increasingly being heard in Crimea. Ukrainian intelligence has conducted dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses, and ships.

In early January 2024, a Russian command center was hit near the occupied Sevastopol.

Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Saky airfield, where another enemy command point was located.
