Since the morning of June 29, explosions have been heard in Crimea. Particularly, anti-aircraft defense systems are active in Sevastopol, according to the Telegram channel Crimean Wind and the Telegram channel of Sevastopol's governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Russians have declared an air alert in Sevastopol.

"In Sevastopol, Russian air defense systems are firing," writes Crimean Wind.

According to information from a monitoring Telegram channel, at least two missile launches from air defense systems have been observed in Sevastopol.

In addition, the Russian military has closed traffic on the Crimean Bridge.

Explosions were heard not only in Sevastopol. Sevastopol's governor Mikhail Razvozhaev has already reported that the alleged repelling of a missile attack is ongoing.

"According to preliminary information, 2 aerial targets were destroyed in the sky over the water and near Balaklava. However, debris from the destroyed targets fell in the coastal area and Balaklava district," he wrote.

Allegedly, according to his data, there was a grass fire outbreak in the Yaltinskoye Kol'tso area.

Situation in Crimea

Explosions are constantly heard in Crimea. Ukrainian defense forces are continuously attacking military targets of the occupiers in Crimea.

In particular, from June 22 to June 28, the Defense Forces struck at the Russian Center for Space Monitoring and Communication in occupied Crimea.

Additionally, on the evening of June 25, a strong fire broke out near Cape Chauda in Crimea. As of June 27, the area of the fire has increased significantly. It should be noted that military facilities of the Russian forces, including the launch site of Shahed drones, are located at Cape Chauda.
