Explosions in Kharkiv, city under attack by guided bombs
On the evening of November 3, several explosions occurred in Kharkiv, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the Ukrainian Air Force. The military warned of enemy aviation activity and the launch of guided bombs.
“Sounds of explosions are heard! The city is under attack by enemy guided bombs - be careful! More launches are possible,” the message said at 20:54.
A few minutes later, Terekhov clarified that one of the bombs struck directly at the city, while the rest hit a nearby suburb. Information on casualties and damage is currently being clarified.
Earlier, at 20:46, the Air Force warned that enemy tactical aircraft activity was recorded in the eastern direction.
“There is a threat of aviation munitions being used in the frontline areas,” the military wrote.
At 20:53 it became known that the bomb was launched at the city.
“There is preliminary information about an enemy strike in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. Specialized services have gone to check it out,” said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
“The attack on Kharkiv took place in a forest belt. This time, fortunately, there were no casualties and no damage,” Terekhov said.
As of 20:57, the air alert continues in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. In addition, the Luhansk region and occupied Crimea have been marked by alert signals for many months.
On November 1, Russians attacked a police station in Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, 36 police officers and an employee of the State Emergency Service were injured. There are also 13 civilians among the injured.
The enemy damaged 26 buildings and 12 vehicles.
