On the night of September 10–11, explosions were heard in Sumy and Chernihiv. Air raid alerts continue in both cities, according to the Telegram channel of Suspilne Novyny.

“In Sumy, an explosion was heard, reporters from Suspilne reported,” the 01:00 Kyiv time update said.

A short time later, the outlet reported a second explosion in Sumy. Additionally, at 01:09, explosions were heard in Chernihiv.

The likely cause of the explosions is a drone attack. Specifically, as of 21:48, the Ukrainian Air Forces detected a group of drones over Chernihiv, and at 01:16, at least one drone was spotted flying past Khotin toward Sumy.
