An ammunition depot was allegedly hit in Yenakiieve.
Russian occupation authorities have already announced an emergency evacuation of residents near the site of the hit. Details are still unknown, but footage from the scene has already appeared online.
The area where the explosions are taking place has been blocked off, and the locals are asked to stay in the shelter or not to approach the windows.
Yenakiieve
Yenakiievo has been occupied by Russian forces since April 2014, during Russia's invasion of Donbas. Since the occupation, the city has been under the control of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic, which has led to the degradation of infrastructure and economy.
Currently, Russian occupation authorities use the city to support their military campaign, while residents often face repression, forced mobilization, and deteriorating living conditions.
An interesting fact is that Yenakiieve is the hometown of the fugitive former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.
