An explosion occurred in Melitopol, which is occupied by Russian forces, injuring at least four soldiers and damaging a military Ural truck. A video of the incident has appeared online, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to intelligence officials, on the morning of December 20, 2025, in an industrial area of temporarily occupied Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces were loading their military Ural truck.

"The local industrial zone is used by units of the Russian forces as ammunition depots and as a base for their military equipment," the statement said.

At the moment of maximum concentration of personnel near the vehicle, an explosion occurred.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, at least four Russian soldiers sustained severe injuries as a result. The Ural truck was also damaged.

In addition, intelligence officers released a video from the scene of the incident in occupied Melitopol.

Explosions in Russian-occupied Melitopol

At a closed base of the Russian forces in Melitopol, Ukrainian intelligence fighters carried out a special operation that resulted in the elimination of four Russian drone operators.

High-ranking Russian military personnel were eliminated in occupied Melitopol.

In addition, a car was blown up in Melitopol, injuring collaborator Maksym Zubaryev. He was among the first to cooperate with the enemy and headed the so-called Yakymivka administration.
