On the morning of January 22, an explosion rocked Kramatorsk as Russia launched another missile attack on the city. Sotsmisto (one of the districts - ed.) was left without electricity, and the administrative building was also destroyed, according to Donbas News.

"A powerful explosion occurred around 9:25 AM. The administrative building has been destroyed," the report stated.

As a result of the shelling, there were power outages in one of the districts. Specifically, the Sotsmisto area was partially left without electricity due to emergency disconnection.

Situation in the Donetsk region

Russian forces continue to shell cities and villages in the Donetsk region, with no intention of relinquishing control of the region. According to regional administration's data, two people were killed and four others were injured in the past day.

Russians target not only populated areas under Ukrainian control in the region. On January 21, occupiers struck a market in Donetsk, resulting in dozens of people being injured and killed. Reports of explosions were also coming in from Donetsk and Makiivka on the morning of January 22.
