Explosion in Crimea: Fighter jets and missile reported
An explosion occurred in Crimea on Wednesday, October 4. An explosion and the launch of a missile in the direction of the Kherson region have been reported in the temporarily occupied town of Krasnoperekopsk, according to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.
"An explosion near Krasnoperekopsk," the media reported.
In addition, local residents have reported seeing two fighter jets flying over Krasnoperekopsk.
"There is also a chance that a missile was launched towards the Kherson region," as mentioned in the Telegram channel.

Recent explosions have been a recurring concern in Crimea. Notably, Krasnoperekopsk has been among the locations frequently experiencing such incidents. Prior explosions were reported there on September 12 and earlier in July, with Russian occupiers sending up aviation during the summer explosions in the city.
Krasnoperekopsk is located in the southern part of the Perekop Isthmus, north of the Crimean capital, Simferopol. The North Crimean Canal also runs near Krasnoperekopsk.
