In Kharkiv, amid the Russian shelling of Ukraine, an explosion occurred. A strike was recorded in one of the city's districts, according to the Telegram channel of Kharkiv's Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
According to Terekhov, the enemy struck the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. Currently, no further details of the situation are available.
Earlier, monitoring channels reported the arrival of ballistic missiles.
Shelling of Ukraine by Russia
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has systematically shelled the territory of Ukraine, targeting not only critical infrastructure but also civilian areas. These attacks pose a serious threat to the civilian population. To carry out strikes, Russian forces use a wide range of weapons: cruise and ballistic missiles, aviation bombs, artillery systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Later, it became known that cruise missiles had been launched from the sea, including from the Black Sea area.
