Shelling of Ukraine by Russia
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has systematically shelled the territory of Ukraine, targeting not only critical infrastructure but also civilian areas. These attacks pose a serious threat to the civilian population. To carry out strikes, Russian forces use a wide range of weapons: cruise and ballistic missiles, aviation bombs, artillery systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
This night, as in previous days, the Russian forces attacked Ukraine using kamikaze drones. Around 1 a.m. Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the activity of Russian strategic aviation, with Tu-95MS bombers being deployed. Later, it became known that cruise missiles had been launched from the sea, including from the Black Sea area.
