The fighters of the 412th Nemesis UAV Regiment destroyed an enemy Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system (SAM). The value of the system is approximately 100 million dollars, according to the Facebook page of the regiment.

The SAM system was destroyed in the Luhansk region

"In the Luhansk region, the 412th Nemesis UAV Regiment of the Armed Forces recorded the operation of an enemy Buk-M3 SAM system. The intelligence tracked the target's movement route, precisely determined its position, and together with other units of the Ukrainian defense forces, struck the enemy's air defense," the regiment writes.

Buk-M3

The Buk-M3 is a Russian self-propelled medium-range air defense system. It is capable of hitting aerodynamic targets at a range of up to 70–75 km and ballistic targets at a shorter distance. Compared to previous modifications, the Buk-M3 features improved radar equipment, a new missile (9M317M), and a digital fire control system.

Its primary purpose is air defense for troops and facilities against airborne threats in conditions of active use of electronic warfare means.
