Eurovision 2025 First Semi-Final: When Ukraine performs and how to vote

Today, May 13, marks the start of the 69th International Eurovision Song Contest. In Basel, Switzerland, representatives from 15 countries will take the stage to compete for a spot in the grand final. Among them is Ukraine’s representative — the band Ziferblat. Here is where and when to watch the first semi-final of Eurovision 2025.
When and where to watch the first semi-final of Eurovision 2025
Viewers will be able to watch two semi-finals and the grand final, held on May 13, 15, and 17. The winner will be determined based on jury evaluations and audience voting.
Ukrainian band Ziferblat will compete in the first semi-final, performing fifth. The broadcast in Ukraine will begin at 10:00 PM Kyiv time.

Who is expected to reach the final: bookmakers’ predictions
According to the latest bookmaker odds, Sweden is the favorite to win the first semi-final. Experts also predict that Estonia, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Albania, Belgium, Cyprus, Poland, Norway, and San Marino will advance to the final.

You can support your favorite act in several ways:
- Through the official Eurovision Song Contest App
- By SMS or phone call (the numbers will appear during the broadcast)
- Via the special website esc.vote, which will be active on the show days
Note: Ukrainians living in Ukraine cannot vote for their own representative. However, those living abroad will be able to cast a vote.
