The next European Political Community summit will take place next week in Denmark, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

As Zelenskyy reported, he held a phone conversation today with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

"We discussed preparations for the European Political Community summit, which will take place next week in Denmark. We agreed on meetings with our partners and are preparing for diplomatic work," the president said.

The parties also discussed the situation with Russian drones, which have been spotted in Danish airspace three times this week. Zelenskyy shared details from Ukrainian intelligence.

"We both understand that in light of all these incidents, we need to coordinate even more and increase defense production. Any challenges are overcome through cooperation," he added.

European Political Community summit

The European Political Community (EPC) is a platform established in 2022 for political and strategic dialogue on Europe’s future. The initiative emerged following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The first EPC meeting took place in October 2022 in Prague, bringing together representatives from 44 European countries, as well as the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission.

It is worth recalling that in November last year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the European Political Community summit in Budapest. This was his first visit to Hungary since the start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
