EU not going to impose sanctions against Tucker Carlson, says journalist
The European Union is not going to introduce sanctions against American propagandist Tucker Carlson, who interviewed Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, writes Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak on X.
"And no, the EU is not about to sanction Tucker Carlson," he writes.
According to him, this is being said by a member of the European Parliament who does not have the right to vote on EU sanctions.
"Around 250 or so Russian people and companies will soon be subject to sanctions over the war in Ukraine," the journalist added.

Today, Newsweek wrote that the European Union may impose sanctions against American propagandist Tucker Carlson because of his interview with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
As the publication explained, in order to include a person on the EU sanctions list, it is necessary to submit evidence for consideration by the EU External Affairs Service. After that, the matter will be referred to the European Council - a body consisting of the leaders of the EU countries, who, in turn, will make the final decision on the introduction of restrictions.
RBC-Ukraine talked about who Tucker Carlson is and why he is called the 'American Solovyov.'
