On Sunday, near the village of Auvere in Estonia, bomb disposal experts will destroy an explosive device that was recently discovered. Residents of nearby settlements may hear loud explosions during the operation, ERR reports.
Estonia's public broadcaster ERR reported that around 8:30 AM local time, a resident contacted the emergency center after finding a large object resembling a bomb while walking in the forest.
The Rescue Service said that sappers were already working at the site and preparing to destroy a 250-kilogram aerial bomb, adding that residents of nearby areas might hear loud sounds and explosions in the Auvere area.

Drone incidents
In September, during a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine, Poland's airspace recorded 19 Russian drones, most of which entered from Belarus.
Similar cases were also reported in Lithuania. At the end of July, a Russian drone crossed into Lithuanian airspace. According to media reports, the Gerbera-type drone was launched from Belarus, flew near Vilnius, and crashed at a training ground.
Unconfirmed reports suggested the drone carried about two kilograms of explosives. Lithuanian officials believe the operation may have been deliberate, as Moscow likely sought to exert psychological pressure on the population.
