Estonian Parliament Deputy Kristo Enn Vaga embarks on a nearly 1,700 km bike journey in just 6 days to raise funds in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Setting off from Tallinn, the official is en route to Kyiv.

About the activist deputy

"To illustrate that I am riding my bike from Tallinn to Kyiv. My objective is to gather donations for UA army. We must not forget that a full scale war is ongoing in our neighborhood," the politician wrote.

Teaming up with the charitable organization 69th Sniffing Brigade, founded by Ukrainians and Estonians, Kristo Enn Vaga aims to raise 50,000 euros to purchase vehicles and drones for Ukrainian troops.

Volunteers specify that a portion of the funds raised will be allocated to two trucks for the UAV unit of the Special Operations Forces at the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The deputy embarked on his cycling journey on April 26 and has already gathered almost 27,000 euros.
