Estonian authorities suspect a possible Russian link to a fire at a Milrem Robotics facility, which produces unmanned equipment for Ukraine, Bloomberg reports.

The prime minister added that the authorities have already identified the suspects and requested their arrest. No one was injured in the fire.

Kristen Mihal also stressed that if the goal of the incident was to intimidate Estonia, sow divisions among its citizens, or force the country to stop supporting Ukraine, it would not succeed.

What is known about Milrem Robotics

Milrem Robotics specializes in the production of autonomous and unmanned ground vehicles. The company supplies Ukraine with unmanned ground vehicles.

A controlling stake in Milrem Robotics is owned by UAE-based defense group EDGE.

In June, the company opened a production line in the Netherlands. As part of the project, the Dutch government will fund the delivery of another 100 such vehicles to Ukraine.

Earlier, Lithuanian Defense Minister Robertas Kaunas warned that Russia is considering possible attacks on critical infrastructure in the Baltic states.

According to him, this could involve potential strikes on Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Moscow may also consider a scenario involving the use of Ukrainian drones and then blame Ukraine for the attack.

In addition, US intelligence previously warned about Putin's plans for a war with NATO.
