Estonia accuses Russia of setting fire to factory supplying Ukraine

Estonian authorities state that Russian intelligence agencies were behind the arson attack on the defense company Milrem Robotics. The company manufactures unmanned ground systems and supplies equipment to Ukraine, according to Reuters.
On September 29, Estonian authorities announced that they had completed their investigation into the circumstances of the fire that occurred in August on the premises of Milrem Robotics.
According to Estonia's findings, the fire was not accidental but was the result of arson organized at the behest of Russian intelligence services.
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal states that this conclusion is based on information gathered by the country's Internal Security Service, KAPO.
At the same time, Estonian authorities do not release any materials that could confirm Russian involvement. Officials in Tallinn explained this by the need to maintain the confidentiality of the security services' work.
Estonia also stated that this incident bore similarities to other cases of sabotage in Europe that Western countries link to Russian activities.
The building of the Tallinn-based company Milrem Robotics, which supplies defense equipment to Ukraine, was set on fire on the night of August 15.
Following the fire, Estonian authorities suggested a possible Russian connection to the arson.
At the time, Michal stated that if the goal of the arson was to intimidate Estonia, sow discord among the population, or force the country to stop supporting Ukraine, it would not succeed.
