Emergency service workers under fire in Kharkiv - Wounded reported
During the shelling in Kharkiv on March 23, a rescuer and a police officer were injured. They came under a repeated drone attack by occupiers, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
At midnight, as a result of enemy UAV attack, a fire broke out in a three-story building covering an area of 150 square meters in the city.
"Immediately, units of the State Emergency Service and National Police arrived at the scene. While the rescuers and law enforcement officers were working at the scene, the enemy launched a repeated UAV strike," the statement said.
As a result, a rescuer from the State Emergency Service and a police officer were injured.
"Two emergency service vehicles were also damaged," the department noted.
Shelling of Kharkiv
After midnight, Russian forces launched another attack on Ukraine, employing kamikaze drones. Air raid sirens were sounded in several eastern and central regions. Specifically, three explosions were reported in Kharkiv. The city has been under attack by Russian aggressors for the third day in a row.
