“Liut fighters are adding rare enemy ‘birds’ to the blacklist. In the brigade’s area of responsibility, the enemy began using a new unmanned complex Prince Veshiy Oleg (Prince Oleg the Prophet),” the statement said.
It is noted that this is a relatively rare aircraft-type drone that the Russians use for deep reconnaissance.
“However, UAV operators of the Dnipro-1 Regiment of the United Assault Brigade Liut once again proved: Ukrainian skies are not for occupiers. The target was promptly detected, identified, and destroyed,” the National Police emphasized.

What's known about the Prince Veshiy Oleg drone
The Prince Veshiy Oleg UAV is a new Russian development with the following characteristics:
-
Maximum speed: 130 km/h
-
Maximum flight altitude: 100 meters
-
Operational range: 45 kilometers
According to Russian claims, the drone’s “main advantage” is supposedly high survivability, as Ukrainian troops allegedly mistake it for their own.
It can conduct reconnaissance, adjust artillery fire, and monitor the results of strike drone operations.
Previously, in January, fighters from the Pentagon unmanned systems battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment destroyed a new Russian Prince Veshiy Oleg drone and released a corresponding video.
