The Georgian Central Election Committee has released preliminary results of the parliamentary elections. According to preliminary data, the turnout was almost 60%.

Based on the processing of 68.69% of the ballots, the Georgian Dream party gained 52.94% of the vote, according to the data on the CEC website.

According to this data:

  • Coalition for Change is in second place with 11.19%,
  • Unity - National is in third place with 9.79% of the vote.
  • The Strong Georgia party has 9.05%,
  • Gakharia's party “For Georgia” - 8.26%.

The turnout, according to preliminary data, is 58.94%, 2,060,412 people voted. The CEC does not yet have data on the turnout from five districts in the mountainous regions and on voting at some polling stations abroad.

Today, October 26, parliamentary elections are taking place in Georgia, with the pro-Russian Georgian Dream and pro-European opposition parties running for office.

All polling stations in Georgia have now closed. But exit polls show opposite results.
