Education and sports: How Andrii Matiukha's Favbet Foundation works

Support for education and the development of digital infrastructure are key areas of activity for the Favbet Foundation, chaired by Andrii Matiukha. The charitable organization implements social initiatives aimed at children and youth, striving to create long-term changes through access to knowledge and new opportunities.
Even before the full-scale war began, the foundation implemented many social projects. One of the areas was the digitalization of libraries in rural areas. In partnership with government structures, 2,140 computers were delivered to 15 regions. This enabled community residents to access modern educational resources.
"We are building a future where every child will have equal access to knowledge and opportunities. Because education is the main investment in the future of a strong and independent Ukraine," said Andrii Matiukha.
The charitable initiative Superheroes Club is implemented within the Favbet Kids program of the Favbet Foundation. In 2023, it won in the category of "Corporate Charitable Foundation" at the national communications competition.
The initiative brought together three areas: "IT Kids", "Strength in Knowledge", and "Stronger Together." Thousands of children gained access to programming courses, and more than 5,500 schoolchildren received school supplies. Additionally, hundreds of children attend sports sections that are open and free for IDP children and military personnel. These include boxing, football, wrestling, and basketball.
According to Andrii Matiukha, helping children is a long-term solution. The projects supported by the foundation are aimed at forming a new generation — confident, healthy, and with access to knowledge. Such initiatives create a culture of daily care in communities.
In 2023, on the initiative of Andrii Matiukha, the biography of Croatian footballer Darijo Srna — the legendary captain of Donetsk "Shakhtar" Football Club — was published. The presentation of the book became a significant event for sports and cultural communities. Darijo Srna himself publicly expressed gratitude for the support of the project.
The foundation's projects cover both large cities and smaller communities. The centers where the charitable initiative "Superheroes Club" is implemented function as spaces for learning, sports, and development. They create a stable environment for children, helping them adapt to modern challenges.
