Dynamo Kyiv claimed their first victory in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League qualifiers. In the second qualifying round, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team defeated Maltese side Ħamrun Spartans with a score of 3–0, according to the match broadcast.

The scoring opened as early as the 13th minute, when Dynamo striker Vladyslav Vanat capitalized on a defensive error by the opponents.

In the second half, the Ukrainians regained control, and in the 76th minute, Vitalii Buialskyi doubled the lead.

Nazarii Voloshyn put the finishing touch on the match, scoring in added time.

The return leg will take place on July 29 in Lublin, Poland — the venue where Dynamo will play their home matches in European competitions.

The team that advances to the next stage of the Champions League will be determined by the aggregate score over the two legs.
