Drones strikes on Kharkiv - 6 hits in one district and massive fire

In Kharkiv, as a result of a Russian forces drone attack on the night of April 23, explosions were reported in one of the city's districts. The strike led to a large fire, according to Kharkiv's Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"As of now, six strikes on the city have been recorded," said the mayor in a post at 2:16 AM Kyiv time.
He also clarified that, according to preliminary information, all impacts from the drone attack by Russian forces occurred in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv.
Furthermore, Terekhov reported that a large-scale fire is being observed at the strike locations.
"The other consequences of the nighttime attack on Kharkiv are being clarified," added the mayor.
Nighttime air attack on Kharkiv
A series of explosions were heard in Kharkiv on the night of April 23. The movement of strike drones from Russian forces towards the city was recorded. Explosions occurred one after another for about an hour.
Local authorities warned residents of the potential for further drone strikes and urged them to stay in shelters until the air raid alert was lifted.
Additionally, the mayor of Kharkiv reported on a fire at the site of the impact.
It was also reported that the Air Force recorded several Shaheds in the suburbs of Kharkiv. As of now, the air raid alert is still in effect in the region.
Other drone strikes on Kharkiv
Yesterday, both during the day and in the evening, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with kamikaze drones. On April 22, during the day, Russian forces launched Shaheds towards Kharkiv, resulting in several explosions. The Russian forces attacked four districts of Kharkiv: Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi, Kyivskyi, and Novobavarskyi.
As a result of the Russian drone attack, ten people were injured.
On the evening of April 22, Russian forces launched another drone attack on Kharkiv. The strike caused a garage fire in the Saltivskyi district of the city. It was revealed that the aggressors used a Molniya type drone for the attack.
