Drones strike from five directions: How Ukraine repelled Russia’s night attack

The Russian army launched 108 attack drones over Ukrainian territory in the past 24 hours. The air defense forces were operating in the northern and eastern regions, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
On the night of May 20, starting from 7:00 p.m. on May 19, Russia launched 108 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of decoy drones.
The drones were launched from Russian territory, including:

According to the Air Force, the attack was countered by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces neutralized 93 enemy drones, including Shaheds and other UAV types, across the east, north, and central regions of the country. Of those, 35 were shot down by firepower, while 58 were lost from radar without causing damage.

Night drone attack
Drone launches by Russian forces were recorded last night as part of another wave of attacks on Ukrainian territory.
According to the Air Force, air raid alerts were declared in several regions, and enemy reconnaissance drones were also spotted in some areas.
By morning, it was confirmed that various districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region had come under aerial attack this night. Drone strikes caused fires in the region, and a building belonging to one of the local enterprises was damaged.
