On the night of May 2, drones attacked several airfields in Crimea. In particular, a strike was carried out on the Kacha airfield, according to the partisan movement ATESH, Telegram channel ASTRA.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully struck the Kacha airfield in Crimea," the ATESH report says.

Thus, the movement's agent reported operational information that right now a fire is visible at the Kacha military airfield, and explosions are heard, and probably ammunition is detonating.

"Thus, we can speak of the success of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' strike on Russian military facilities in Crimea tonight. And, according to our insider information, this is far from all that the Russians have prepared. We expect more to come," the partisans note.

Satellite images confirm fires in Kacha airfield area

At the same time, the ASTRA Telegram channel writes that in the temporarily occupied Crimea, in the area of ​​the Kacha airfield and the village of Kutove, after the drone attack, an increase in fire activity is observed.

Thus, residents also wrote in chat rooms that they heard explosions near the Inkerman winery, which is located approximately 2 km from the Kacha airfield.

ASTRA also drew attention to the fact that a fire was observed in the area of ​​the Bakhchisarai plant Budindustriia - this is one of the largest enterprises for the production of building materials.

According to the head of the Russian occupation administration of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, the night drone attack on the occupied city was the most massive this year.

On the night of May 2, the occupied Crimea was massively attacked by strike drones. Explosions can be heard in the area of ​​military airfields, air defense was actively working, and fires were recorded.

Thus, powerful explosions and queues were heard in the area of ​​the Simferopol airport, as well as near the military airfields Kacha and Belbek in Sevastopol, in Saky, Novofedorivka, and Dzhankoi.

The Center for Countering Dissinformation has already commented on the explosions in Crimea. They believe that explosions at military facilities in Crimea are an important component of Ukraine's security, since Russia uses the peninsula as a military base.
