Drones hit university, multiple fires reported: photos show aftermath of strike on Kyiv

Kyiv came under a massive drone attack during the night of July 31. Emergency services have released the first images showing the aftermath of the strike, according to the State Emergency Service (DSNS).
According to the State Emergency Service (DSNS), debris from one of the drones fell near a garage cooperative, igniting a gas pipe attached to a three-story residential building. Several people became trapped in the garages, but rescuers promptly evacuated them to safety.
At another location, drone debris struck a residential building, causing a fire in an apartment and damaging several vehicles parked in the courtyard. The fire was quickly extinguished.
Rescuers also reported that one of the drones hit a higher education institution. Additionally, fragments damaged the roof of a five-story building, a warehouse, and set another vehicle on fire.
Drone attack on Kyiv
Last night, Russian forces launched a drone assault on Kyiv from multiple directions. The Solomianskyi district suffered the most severe damage, though the Sviatoshynskyi district was also affected.
Several people were injured as a result of the attack.
