On the night of July 31, Kyiv once again became the target of a Russian aerial attack. Initial reports of explosions and air defense activity emerged around midnight, with residents across several districts reporting loud blasts and falling debris.

According to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, at least five impact sites were recorded in the Solomianskyi district following a massive kamikaze drone strike. Debris hit residential infrastructure, and parked vehicles caught fire on one of the streets.

The administration later clarified that a fire also broke out at an educational facility, while in another residential building, a fifth-floor apartment caught fire.

At 12:50 AM Kyiv time, Tkachenko reported that one man was injured in the Solomianskyi district as a result of the attack and was receiving medical assistance.

As reported by the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine during the night of July 31, using strike UAVs launched from multiple directions, including the north, east, and south.
