In the Krasnodar region, air defense forces were active during the night of February 10 due to the detection of drones. The Afinsky oil refinery may have been hit, with a fire reported on the premises, and a high-rise building in Krasnodar was damaged, according to the Telegram channel of the Governor of Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, and Russian media.

In Krasnodar Telegram channels, reports of a drone attack began circulating around 1 a.m. According to Russian media, UAVs were detected near the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, where air defense systems were active.

The Telegram channel Mash reported that residents of Slavyansk-on-Kuban heard at least 10 explosions.

Later, messages surfaced online claiming that a drone hit a residential building in the Krasnodar region. Russian propaganda sources alleged that Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking residential buildings in Krasnodar.

In contrast, the local governor, Kondratiev, made a statement that the mayor of Krasnodar informed him about damage caused by a UAV to the Tsentralnyi residential complex. According to the report, a Ukrainian drone was allegedly shot down over the city, and its debris fell onto the technical extension on the 19th floor of the building.

The Russian official confirmed that the high-rise building was hit due to the work of the Russian Armed Forces' air defense systems.

Additionally, the governor of Krasnodar stated that, initially, no one was injured.

The mayor of Krasnodar, Naumov, confirmed that the debris from the shot-down Ukrainian drone fell on the technical rooms on the roof of the building near the Sennoy market, and there were no casualties.

"Special services and law enforcement agencies are working on site, the area where the incident occurred is cordoned off. A door-to-door inspection is underway to clarify whether residential premises were affected," the governor of Krasnodar region's statement said.

Later, the governor of Kuban reported that another drone was shot down in the village of Afipsky, in the Seversky district.

"Unfortunately, the debris damaged a private house. No one was injured, and special services are working on-site," the official said.

Before this, there were speculations on the internet that the target of the drone attack could have been the Afipsky Oil Refinery, and that several drones were reportedly neutralized near the plant.

Footage surfaced online showing the drone attack in Kuban that night, as well as a fire at the refinery.

Earlier, on the night of February 5, the Russians reported a drone attack in the Krasnodar region. There was information about a UAV strike and fires at an oil depot located near the Kanevskoy district.

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the mini-oil refinery Albashneft in the Krasnodar region. A fire broke out at the site after the successful hit.

On February 9, satellite images of the Albashneft oil depot in the Krasnodar region of Russia were shared online. The images revealed damage to the storage tanks at the facility following the February 5 attack.
