On the night of October 4, the Republic of Adygea, Russia, came under a massive drone attack. The attack may have caused a fire at one of the airfields, according to the OSINT source Exilenova.

At approximately 5 a.m., a post appeared on the Telegram channel stating that residents of the city of Maykop were reporting an attack and a fire at the Khanskaya military airfield.

An hour later, the channel reported that the drone attack had continued throughout the night. The channel also posted photos and videos showing drones flying overhead and the fire.

Official Russian government channels have made no mention of this. Moreover, they did not even issue any warnings about the threat of drone attacks in the region.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also reported on the drone attack last night. He claimed that air defense forces had allegedly shot down six drones that were flying toward the Russian capital.
