On the morning of January 15, unidentified drones attacked Russia's Kaluga region. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in the Dzerzhinsky district, according to Russian Telegram channels.

According to eyewitnesses, as reported by SHOT, around 6 a.m., about four to five explosions and gunfire were heard in the region. The attack caused a fire at an industrial facility, though the exact location has not been disclosed. Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media capture the sound of drones and air defense systems in action.

The governor of the region, Vladislav Shapsha, confirmed the drone attack and fire. However, he claimed that the blaze was caused by falling debris.

"A fire broke out at an industrial facility in the Dzerzhinsky district due to the crash of a UAV. Emergency response teams and an operational group have arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," he wrote on social media.

Unknown drones also attacked Rostov-on-Don, Novomoskovsk in the Tula region, and Engels in the Saratov region that night.

Additionally, explosions were heard in Volgograd. According to Russian reports, unidentified drones targeted a local oil depot, where air defense systems were activated.
